Garden Office Design

Charles Pearce design each garden room specifically to your requirements. Factors such as garden size, neighbours, planning & conservation, permitted development rights and freehold/leasehold interests, all play a part in the end design. That together with whether you want to use the room as an office, dance studio, artist studio, workshop or you just want a place to escape. We have built rooms with kitchens, bathrooms, sauna rooms, sheds and are used to making the space as useable as the space and budget will allow.

 


Garden Office Build

Garden Office Planning

Many companies will tell you that you don't need permission for your garden room, as they are non-permanent structures, but we would recommend that you seek advice before proceeding. As a simple rule of thumb with planning, if you do not live in a conservation area, your house is not listed, you own the house and garden (not a flat) and you have not already built 70 cubic metres of additional space on to the house, then you will be able to build your garden room. If the above is not the case, call us and we will advise. You can hand the design and planning job over to Charles Pearce. In order to make sure you get the best out of your investment, we would discuss what function you want your garden room to fulfil, both in the short and long-term. We will then make a recommendation to you on the design we believe best fits your environment.
